Octubre 2010 - Honeywell introduce su nuevo final de carrera inalámbrico "wireless" para altas cargas/prestaciones de la serie WLS. Cumplimenta y expande la gama ... WGLA que permite detectar cualquier movimiento donde antes era realmente difícil o imposible.

 

 

 

Combina la extrema rigidez de la serie HDLS con la última tecnología inalámbrica.., que utiliza la frecuencia de radio WLAN RF24 GH2 de acuerdo con el estandar internacional IEEE 802.15.4.
Múltiples combinaciones, nuevos equipos y distancias estan o estarán disponibles en este nuevo mundo que elimina cableados, simplifica cualquier nueva instalación, dotándola de flexibilidad total y el consecuente ahorro energético.

    MINNEAPOLIS, October 11, 2010 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) introduced today its new Limitless™ WLS heavy-duty wireless limit switch, the latest in its series of wireless limit switches that feature flexibility and proven harsh-duty packaging to increase efficiency, and reduce maintenance and warranty costs for machines, equipment, OEMs, and operators.

    The new WLS Heavy-Duty Switch is a durable, wireless limit switch that combines the best of Honeywell’s heavy-duty MICRO SWITCH™ HDLS wired limit switch series with the latest wireless technology. Designed for wireless position sensing or presence/absence detection in industrial, construction, and transportation environments, the new WLS Heavy- Duty Switch Series is ideal for applications and machinery where wiring is challenging or not feasible.

   Wireless offers advantages over traditional wired switches by reducing total installed costs as there are no wires to install, no wear-and-tear to mend, and no cords to ever replace. Wireless also increases flexibility and offers easy reconfiguration by allowing remote, temporary, and permanent installations.

   Honeywell’s Limitless™ WLS Wireless Switch uses a global, license-free RF wireless 802.15.4 WPAN protocol, and has up to a 305 m (1000 ft) line-of-sight communication range in North America, yet consumes low power to prolong battery life. It also features an EN 50041 metal enclosure for operation in rugged environments and conforms to IP67 and NEMA 1, 3, 4, 6, 6P, 12, and 13 standards.

   These switches may be used in a variety of construction, transportation, and industrial remote monitoring applications, including agricultural equipment, crane booms, lifts, presses, conveyors, grain diverters, and door positions.
